We got our first taste of the Tony’s! Having co-produced our first Broadway show in this Tony season (Gettin’ The Band Back Together), we grabbed the opportunity to be part of this final celebration of Broadway. The energy was infectious and many themes resonated with our own interests: gender activism and disabilities rights. We especially rejoiced when Rachel Chavkin, the only female director of a musical nominated, won for Hadestown, and Ali Stroker made history as the first Tony award winning actor in a wheelchair.
